I lived with my husband for 10 years … in the first 8 years there was a lot of verbal, emotional and mental abuse. I’m ready to leave, but now he’s a completely different person. He shows me how good he is every day. He says he wasn’t really there for our relationship because he was blinded by his own pain. I don’t have enough faith in myself to leave because despite the insults, he seems different and I don’t know what to do. I’m really stuck. Please tell me if anyone else has experienced this.
